If it was the amplifier draining it, wouldn't there be a light on the amp to tell you it's on? Plus it would be warm/hot.

EDIT: By the way, do you have a factory headunit, or an aftermarket one?

Woke up this morning and the battery is fine. It was defiantly the amp that drained the battery the first time. Must have just been a coincidence that the second battery we put in was flat.

This is my deck: Link

EDIT: Got my mechanic to stop the alarm for me, charged me $40. Cheap deal imo. Now we can figure out whats killing my battery and all is good, hopefully lol.

Ah, no wonder yours doesn't turn off automatically, it's an aftermarket deck :)

Looked into the cabling a bit more and your right, the constant and accessories were the wrong way around. We'll fix that up tomorrow and it should all be sweet.

Just need to mount the amp in the boot and it's all good.

Thanks for all the help mate, much appreciated.

lol, it had me surprised when i was hooking mine up, cause i was checking the pinouts from the sticker on top of the genuine h/u but still joining the matching colours and discovered they dont match up
