    hi everyone
my mate's omega was dead coz his GF start the engine after the manifold&intake filled up with some water.so we are thinking abt a engine swap, and someone told us he got a alloytec 190 with loom/ECU from a 5spAT SV6 for a really cheap price.
so, my question is, does the alloytec 190 can be running with 4L60E? or it can be running with the stock 5L40E only?
and sry abt the poor english as im a asian:bomb:

I thought you'd be after an ENGINE not a TRANSMISSION?

Question to you would be, why go for a 4L60E when they are weak as **** and could benefit more from the 5 Speed?

coz the 4L60E on the omega is still working, all we need is a new engine and someone want to sale his alloytec 190(which is from a SV6) to us

if its not working i think we might be just go to find a normal alloytec 180:(
