[Alloytec] Alloytec boat motor BCM bypass

Hi Guys

I am looking at putting a VZ Alloytec motor in a boat and am wondering how easy it is to bypass the BCM.
I have done a VS Ecotec engine swap into a Hilux and that was a simple chip change, is the alloytec going to be that easy?

I think your going to run into some issues here mate,
Even with a full aftermarket ECU like motec unit the stock PCM and BCM must stay and communicate between the two.

nah you should be able to get it pulled out of the comp so it doesnt need it, seen heaps of conversions with the alloytec, if your unsure give the guys at v6 conversions a call, they are always in the commodore mags.

Gave v6 conversions a call and they quoted $1600 for BCM bypass and wiring loom, anyone got any cheaper options?
