Alloytec Engine - Where is the engine number?

Sorry if this has been covered before but with a quick search I couldn't find anything.

Where is the engine number on Alloytec V6 engines as in the VZ ?

Why do you need the engine number for?

I know where it is but a reason would be good.

I want to get a REVS certificate before purchase. They warn you to check that the engine number on the registration papers is the same as the actual one on the engine block.
