OK. You have convinced me it is the same. Bloody hard to see under all the other hoses.
Not going to stuff with it until I get the unicorn Camaro replacement.

Will this part work for a 2010 Omega Sportswagon? Is there a video to show how to locate / replace? We bought this car 10 months ago after previous owner moved overseas and they had a lot of work done including timing chain, etc. It runs good, but lately it used 1 liter of oil in about 1000kms and I read somewhere that PCV may be problem? Any thoughts are appreciated. Thank you kind weirdos.

It has an Alloytec, so yeah, all the same.
There’s no video, well there might be back at the start of the thread.

3.0 SIDI has same PCV hole size problem as 3.6? (the online rego check is telling me it's a 3.0 anyway)

VY Statesman SV6
Hi Mate, Great post. Just a quick question or 2. If the PCV is clogged up will that make the car sound louder and sound not completely tuned properly? Also i have a VY Statesman with a Super 6, is the PCV you show above from those engines..eg. L67 with SC?

The PCV is a service item in a VY. Your VY has a completely different motor than what this thread is about. Best post your question in the VY section.

From memory the PCV on my old Buick motor in the VP had a ball bearing and spring inside it. I was able to clean it but then bought a new one.

Yes the car will run a little smoother but hardly noticeable. You just don’t end up with heaps of oil in the intake. A bit. Not heaps like with the factory sized PCV

Thank you @Fu Manchu,
I checked the PCV Valve on my Adventera this afternoon, as I noticed oil in the Air Duct,
and looks to be a little bit like a caramel milkshake under the oil filler cap, build up of condensation in the Motor I am assuming,
I did other work on it today,
But I also remove the PCV Valve, and images are worth a thousand words !!!

So I did the PCV Mod today,
Drilled it out, 3mm and 2 x 2mm.
Soaked it in Degreaser,
Washed it down, then gave it a blast with compressed Air to dry it off.
Hopefully it will breather easier.

I would be looking into that. Creamy oil does not sound good.
Sounds like a coolant leak into the oil.
