So Ksport Australia here in NSW posted a new style air intake to suit V6 VZ & VE.
for $199 with free freight upon pre-order until Mid July it sounds like a good price for what it is.
Looks Pretty neat IMO but thus far my speculations are as follows:

- How does its performance match up to the competition? (ie MACE & GROWLER)
- Will it fit a standard size K&N filter if I decided to get one?

Images attached below. Share your thoughts!
(If you are interested in pre-ordering one head over to Ksport Australia on facebook)

Honestly no one has any thoughts on this? lol
Considering buying one but I dont exactly want to "downgrade" from my current Growler Kit but don't know enough about Air intake to decide!

Too many
For $200 it doesn't look too bad. Though the CAPA/X-Air one looks a bit more refined but is around $550. But a plus on this one is you can use your choice of filter.

$200 doesn't sound to bad , but being so cheap , I wonder what the quality will be like , I'd sooner pay a bit more and get something decent .

Actually apparently its a custom filter so will likely require ordering ahead of services. Although easily DIY changed its still a little annoying. Although I'd imagine that would only be like, once every six months

Filter sealing is sometimes dodgy even on brand name OTRs, cheap plastic can crack etc, I'd stay away. You can get a decent cold air supply from the hole behind/under the headlight. The stock airbox flows pretty well too, two-hole mod or mace intake should be plenty for an alloytech.

Looking at it, it also seems to block off a decent amount of air getting to the radiator too being in the way.
