I have the 2007 VE SS and my tyres are looking a little tired :) What are good alternatives to the Potenza 18s?

Adrenalin Potenza RE001 best they have.

Dunlop SP SPORT MAXX - SP SPORT MAXX TT.

Never tried both but they are alternative, don't know what the cheaper ones would be like.

As S.O.S stated; go with the Adrenalins. Awesome tyre mate and they stick like **** to a blanket! :driving: Paid $320 each for my 18's. If you don't want the Adrenalins then go with the Dunlop SP SPORT MAXX - SP SPORT MAXX TT as S.O.S said. They've been given great reviews.

Potenza's are good, but you do pay for them. The Dunlop Sports Maxx I currently have on my SS and they are very impressive for the price (about $230 a corner from memory?) Solid wet and dry performance, good wear rate, quiet and comfortable.

You can get better tyres, but only if you spend a lot more.

The original Potenzas were (are?) $500 each. Looking to spend around the $300 mark.
