When I start my Holden WL in the ususal way, the alternator does not 'kick in' so the battery is not charging. I have a new battery and a new alternator, neither has resolved tthe problem. If I start the car using an external jump starter across the battery, there is no problem and, when I start the car using the battery alone following a start with the jump starter, all is well. I have cleaned all the contact surfaces and checked the wires. Any suggestions please.
