alternator plug rubbing

hi i got a vs statesman wit a side mount charger and the hose that goes from the motor to the bottom of the charger keeps rubbing on alternator wire. is there a different plug i can get for the alternator so the wires come out of the side of the plug instead of the back of the plug as i cant move the hose. or wat else can i do.

If you remove the alternator you can remove the 4 screws that hold the front and back covers together (remove the regulator first), split the alternator and then turn the rear section 90° to clear your pipe.

You can’t rotate the back housing independently of the front one as the mount uses both the front and rear.

Get an L67 alternator

yes its a 5.0 304 with a side mount vortech v3 supercharger. ive tried to upload pics but it says there to large to upload and i font know how to compress them sorry.
