Rewired engine bay, want to know if the alternator voltage sense wire can be attached to the either fusebox main power feed location or the starter motor main feed location.
It originally came from the positive terminal on the battery post (which now resides in the boot)
Im hoping I can just attach with either of the above posts or will I need to run that wire all the way back to the boot?

Its on the same part of the loom that connects the alternator, starter and tacho signalwire??
Cheers

Can't see why not.
If it came from the + side of the battery, all you need to do is connect it to a constant +12 volt.
The main starter cable from the battery would be ok as there is minimal loss of voltage from the battery.

Excellent. Thanks mate. Was thinking on the same lines with the starter cable.
