How's the battery, are the fusible links ok on the battery I assume its set up like a ve with the bcm controlling the charge. Best to hook it up to a tech tool.

Thanks Trevor .. I'll check a few things, I noticed fuses on the positive battery lead connection, is that the fuses you mentioned ? And just bought a new tech tool and will be looking at that more .. battery charged up, but will check it's strength .. appreciate

What have you tested?
What is the battery charging voltage at idle?
Are there any fault codes? If so, what are they (all systems)?
Have you load tested the battery properly? What was the result?
What other symptoms is the car experiencing?

There was a charging fault code that related to the F wire not connecting from the alternator .. I'd been disconnecting the battery to reset an ABS code, because it would throw me into limp 1st gear .. I've replaced the alternator, but it's still not charging .. waiting for rain to stop, to look at things more .. I need the cat going, particularly now .. appreciate Mechanic

You haven't really answered any of my questions.
Come back with some actual results (numbers, codes etc) and we can move forward.
