hey everyone, i just had phreddy do rca outputs on my holden IQ in my ve commodore, i have run rockford fosgate P400 4 channel amp and a T1500 monoblock amp. if i turn the gain up to about 20% its fine, any higher and i get a ridiculously loud whine. some people have told me its just because the iq unit cant give more power. is this true? or am i doing something wrong. Ive got it powered using thick 0 gauge wiring so ive spent alot of money to try get things perfect. any help appreciated

Hi there!

I'll ask the obvious question first.

Where have you grounded all of your components? You should be grounding everything to the chassis of the car, NOT to thr battery negative.

Also do the RCA cables run next to the amp power cables.

Also you can give a "Ground Loop Isolator" a try
