Yeah, I can see those on eBay, but they are different to the OEM. You can whip your belt off and check it out in a second. I don't know what the advantage of that is

oem is 6 ribbed?
That one is 8 ribbed? High performance engines?

Yeah, i've heard of viscous coolong fan clutches on older Holdens but not heard of viscous alternator pulleys before.
I'll take your word for it that it's not a one way clutch pulley rather than take the belt off my VF...

my mates VE series 2 v8 Calais seems to have a over run pulley and its all stock as far as we know, they prob done it for emissions... and yes it can affect fueling
