Greetings, I come in Peace from the Fordxr6turbo forums!
Unfortunately many moons ago my granny was conned into buying a VE Omega Station wagon. She has just left to Germany for a few weeks and gave me a list of things she wants fixed on her car. I am now in need of advice for a few things on the head unit.
2 problems:
CD mechanism has random disk loading spasams and gives a "mechanism error" message. I believe replacing the single CD mechanism from the back of the headunit would be the way to go.
But most importantly the AM radio Has stopped working. She's in her 70's so am radio is all the rage in her social club. I can faintly hear the station in the background through all the hissing. Holding the antenna can improve it slightly but still unputupwithable. Iv got no idea where to start in fixing this issue.
