That's fairly shocking. If the cops are going to use such restraint systems than they should be taught how to make sure the suspect is still breathing/living. Shows that police brutality isn't limited to black folk.
What pisses me off more is the paramedic administered drugs without checking vitals and the patients basic condition first. That's a fail all round really.
When serving in the police we’d always asked if they’d taken any substances , illegal or prescription, we would never hold someone down in that position, ever . Regardless of the situation the persons safety was paramount , we would always keep them talking even if we were under a barrage of abuse , call them by their name, and the ambulance was on it’s way if not already there especially if they were under the influence of an unknown substance , that video was shameful
