I have a full sound system in my ute which has 2way speakers 350w and a sub 1200w and a amp 800w and it runs fine

Is it worth getting a bigger amp or not?

I'm looking at a 1200w class D amp

If it runs fine, no.

Can you tell us model numbers and RMS/continuous power ratings?

That amp powers those speakers fine. It has enough power for the sub for everyday listening but if you want to have it to be fully powered then look for an amp that puts out 250rms or more.

So you don't need a bigger amp, you can get another to power the sub but that's up to you.

How? There's 5 spots I can think of in a ute. Under each seat, behind each seat and between the seats above the center console.

Most of those spots are stupid, I have my amp behind the drivers seat only cause the sub could only go below it

I'm only having pioneer so it's the one I have at the moment or
