amp protection

hi there i have just got a second hand amp given to me its a avantgarde competion series amp 2 x 200w but the potection light comes on when connecting up ? it has a green led light for working and a red led light for protectin mode the green light comes on for about one second the goes onto proctetion mode and the red led light stays on but the green led light pulses every 4 seconds what could be the problem is there any way of testing it or fix it please let me know as i am keen to get it going the amp has rust around the edegs of the amp caseing i have taken it apart but still cannot see any faults like burnt out solders ect :bang: :bang: :shutup:


p.s i have connected the amp correct was given to me broken

so its deffently inside the amp

Take it to a service technician and get it repaired properly.
