It has been mentioned on the forum before, apparently it has many 'bugs'....

This appears to be a new version... previous iterations didn't do Apple Carplay or Android Auto....

The discussions about it previously related to how it CarPlay’d, so while it may be a new version, the fact it has CarPlay isn’t new since it was discussed around here.

I thought the one with all the bugs was the Advanced Ice unit?

Seems pretty expensive as well for what it is in my opinion for essentialy a software tweak / update.

What are others thoughts? I am thinking you could use that cash for some other mods.

There appears to be support for Holdens but nothing for Commodore yet. I hope it eventually could be updated by dealers.

The hardware in VF won't ever get an update to support Android Auto/Apple Carplay. The Holden vehicles that support Android Auto/Apple Carplay run newer generation radio boxes.

I agree it's expensive, but with having Android Auto in my Astra, I've come to rely on it :)

It's good thing then? What are the benefits?

One benefit is SatNav maps newer than 2015. Which is much more of a thing in 2025.
