Cool. I have one and a half guards so means i can try 65 parts for the rest as we'll, might be easier to find.

I haven't done anything with the impala yet :(

I have instead decided to start up a business as I thought that I didn't have enough to do already.
So the last 6 months have been completely taken up by that, although it is starting to even out so might be able start doing something on the impala soon.

Which actually fits in the garage... just... If I take off the front bumper.

Not that there is much room around it, about 30cms, but it means that I can finally get around to start repairing it when I find some spare time.
I just have to remove all the rest of the crap thats around it at the moment.

Not sure when I will be able to start work on it, but we are heading in the right direction.

Lack of update.

We decided that our current house is too small so we are looking at moving into a bigger house.
This means a house with at minimum a 2.5 wide garage, double carport and hopefully a shed and large backyard, big enough for all our cars, bikes, trailer, storage, etc.

What all this means is that I can soon finally start work on rebuilding the Impala :)
Been too long already.

Well, I finally moved into a bigger house.
In other words a house with a 2.5 car garage :)

Enough to fit the Impala in and a decent sized workshop, so might actually be able to start getting stuff done on it.

I have been working, just not on this.

Been spending my time on this recently, but it's nearly done for now so the impala will get started soon.

Not much, but it's a start.

I decided I needed space to work on so spent most of today setting up the garage. Then thought I would sort out the trim.
So I took off what was left on the car, and tried to figure out where the hell all the rest went.

Worked most of that out, bundled similar parts together, taped them up and labelled them so at least I will know where they go when it goes back together.

Turns out I have double ups of half the trim, but some of it looks like it's missing.

Kinda Started on the body. These are the worst patches this side.
Wherever there was rust there were chunks of bog under the paint.

Scraped off the bog and rust and cleaned them up a bit. There is already more rust holes then I thought.
And the bog is THICK in some spots.
