VP Calais Manual
Mate even better get yourself a VS S-Pac 5spd. You want a manual by the looks of it, and apart from the basic exec, thats the only 6 that came in 5spd, right through to the VY when they fazed it out.

VS would be significantly better on fuel than the VT/VX. But if you want that shape (and it is a nice looking car btw) i'd go the VX S-Pac 5spd, probably get it around $9K, but itd come standard with Fe2, wheels and some other go fast bits

And the manual DEFINATELY helps with fuel.

To all those who suggested the S-Pac etc. I am tempted to go down this road but i tend to think that these cars would have had a harder life than the standard exec models.

People like you or me have already had this car and probably used the ability to get to 100km/h in 8.0 - 8.5 odd seconds. Where i have more chance of finding an exec, who was driven by someone like ya grandpa getting to 100km/h in 2-3mins :D

But the S-Pac 's definately look significantly better.

I reckon you should go for the 2.4ltr Camry, there pretty zipping, good on fuel and will not breakdown. Some reason Toyota's last long and need alot of thrashing before they dead.

Hehe go the scooter :) Unforntunatley it takes me 30 mins to get to work at 60-100 km/h. It'd kinda suck doing it at 30-50km/h.

The prob i have is that from what i can see if u want a camry you get an older model carmry for the same price as a newer commo... as such commo wins the vote :) but i still have to cruise the yards...
