Carers are pretty resilient to that type of thing. My mum had a thing about unmarried mothers and in a nursing home with dementia, she told a pregnant carer she was disgusting falling pregnant outside of marriage. The carer wasn't offended knowing my mum was no longer a full deck!
They have to have that resiliance to do the job, but even having random things come from someone you have known for a while can be a little confronting even for the seasoned professional....

Glad that carer you're referring to "copped" it on the chin per say and wiped it off as an out of character incident

It has been bought to her attention and still occasionally she has outbursts of a similar nature. Yes she apologises after it is bought to her attention and explained....This has only been happening for a month or so

I don't know whether it is explained to VFSV6 or not whether it is wrong or whether he is actually that sort of person prestroke.....But we can't just assume he is an outright asshole and I can't say I've seen anyone say different.....Might be wrong saying that too

I'll also say, I have only discovered this side effect of a stroke...ie the change in their demenior and their treatment of people....So it's still a learning curve for me
Thanks mate, thanks for the reply. Best wishes to Mrs VC commodore as well.

She's a tough cookie, so she'll battle through.

Thanks for the message of support

Imagine the issues thieve will have if they hit their head trying to steal a VF and accidently trip.... ;)
I think now that VF owners are expecting these scum to turn up they might be having quite a few accidents. It's unfortunate but that's life.

There was a Facebook post the other day that reported a successful ‘bait car’ operation. Apparently the car was recovered and an arrest was made by the police, but they didn’t mention any activities between those two events.
