There was a Facebook post the other day that reported a successful ‘bait car’ operation. Apparently the car was recovered and an arrest was made by the police, but they didn’t mention any activities between those two events.
I saw that one. Been a few scum arrested lately by the sound of it.

I've noticed a huge number of Facebook posts about arrests of late. It’s a bit like the VicPol are now responding to the unrest in the car community, and that it seemed that many people were starting to take things in to their own hands (vigilante groups).

Great. People started watching out for any funny activity with VFs on the street and calling them in. Plus a few bait cars here and there LoL so the scum quickly floated to the surface. I think a broken leg would be very helpful for each scumbag caught. By the second offence they'd be off the road for quite a while.

Steal = cut off their hand, steal again = cut off their other hand. Now they can’t steal any more… and we all know who the thieving cnuts are  But that seems cruel so let’s go old school and just toss a rope over a big treat limb and hang ‘em high :p

Jokes aside (sort of), until politicians and judiciary recognise that even 10 year olds know right from wrong, and know it’s wrong to steal, and provide some real punishment, nothing will change.

We simply need to stop letting them off with a repeated and never ending “don’t do it again” finger wagging telling off, as they continue to reoffend

And if their parents are encouraging such offending and disregard for the law, the kids shouldn’t be left in their care to be trained as future criminals.Sadly we punish pet owners for mistreatment more than we punish parents for corrupting minors… Fcukedup priorities

That's a no go. If they have no hands someone will have to be paid to feed them. With no hands they can't work either.

1st offence, Hand. 2nd offence big toe. Need to be smart about this. With one hand and a bung foot they can work but can't run ;)

:p

Prison does not work for this sort of crime, make the ******* pay FULL restitution, force them to work if need be.

Sadly, without empowering parents to punish their own children this will never happen, you can't punish parents when they already have their hands tied behind their backs!

There is one kid that has repeatedly shown himself stealing cars. Either in the seat speeding, or in and out of children's court with his "mates". Kid looks like he could be blown away by a breath of wind, yet poses like a gangsta with knives and covering his face with a hand sign.

He also tagged a direct link to his mother's Facebook post. She is was a "wellness guru" and apparently was "proud" of her son with his struggles.

It all makes sense when she made a post with him and his uncovered face talking about how he can be a challenge because of "FASD", Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. But apparently according to her that's not always cause by the mother drinking alcohol during pregnancy? Righto chief.

Needless to say, she deleted her account quickly once the link got made to her son in the stolen car groups.

I need a license to catch a fish, should need a license to procreate these days......

Yup. I feel there is more scrutiny owning a pet than popping out a brat.
