Hey guys,

New to Melbourne, and reasonably new to this forum. Just wondering if anyone here knows a descent mechanic in Mordialloc or Braeside areas? By descent, I mean a honest, reliable one who won't pee in my pocket - I'm not sure they exist lol...ya know the kind who tell you straight up what's wrong, give a fair price, minus the bullshite!

I have a list of things I need to attend to on my 1998 VT including:

* 3 idler pulleys - i know where two of them are - is the third one the tensioner one by any chance?

*throttle body clean
*leaking oil pressure switch
*caster rod bushes / sway bar links
*rocker cover gasket / inlet manifold gasket

While I can do simple maintenance like filters, oil changes, changing a battery and that kinda stuff, I don't know how I'd go with this list - especially the gaskets?

Anyone here know of a good mechanic, or perhaps anyone here know enough to come around and help me out on weekends in exchange for carton of beer?

Thanks
