Heres a photo of a mates VE, come up alright

very nice!
need a shot without the rims photoshopped with motion blur though. but this is what I was talking about earlier in this thread.... the low profile of the rims is shown by a lighter edge.

I would hardly call "fully blacked out" subtle changes. It's just screaming for attention, most of which will be met with negativity.

thats a fair enough point.... blacked out isnt exactly subtle, youre right. but 'negativity' is in the eye of the beholder. if this is what the OP wants to do, let him. but unlike chevy badges (dont know why I keep referring to them!) i reckon there's less negative viewpoints on blacked out ve than you might think. it definitely has a tighter margin of error to get it wrong and look bad, but done right I reckon it can look pretty good.

(done bad and she looks like dogs balls though)

I really can't understand why people bag people that modify V6s with such a passion sure the ideal situation would be to have a V8 that looks and sounds cool but we're not all Richard Branson with unlimited money there is such a thing as mods on a budget hence the reason a went an SS instead of an SSV I figured the $8000 difference could be put to better use

God yes I would love to matte wrap it...but I think I might save that for something a little more special haha.

Yeh I'm gunna go to some wheel places on my r&r and see what the go is. See if I like the all black look or something with a pinstripe.

as you can tell...im very confused with if i want euro or muscle look haha. any and all opinions are greatly appreciated. most of the at the top of the list are a matte grey or satin gunmetal which might be a nice contrast
