Keep an eye out on ebay, mate. Or ring around some local exhaust shops. Any ve dual system will fit - even if you have to mix and match to get the rear mufflers. You'll just need to source the hangers and rubbers from holden parts.

Those Breytons look great. What sizes do they come in?

I was thinking of powdercoating the centres of my wheels soon to "Blacken" my car a little more

I want 20x8.5 and 20x10 and I'm pretty sure they make them.

Sling an email to these guys www.wheelworx.com.au and see what they have.

a bit late to the conversation, but another BIG + vote for the Breyton's..... easily the best of the one's shown by a country mile!

that later pic with the Breyton's on the black ve look good.... but it is very black ;).
chrome wheel nuts might break it up a bit, but I honestly think the combo as shown is just a little too 'dark'.... needs something to lighten things up a bit.

but if black on black is your goal, I dont reckon you could find a better wheel to do it with..... very sexy indeed. just hope they have the right stud pattern and offset to fit ve's now!

Nope - nearly twice the fool as a guy who did it to the $18,500 car.

I didn't see anybody bring up the topic of V8's till you did, and even then, nobody has suggested you buy one! Reading between the lines, most seem to be suggesting that the lowspec v6 is a poor starting point when the high output version with a far better transmission is easily found. If the Sv6 isn't your thing then maybe a stocko Calais might be better?

As for the over sensitivity of any criticism that must be coming from ####heads -. This is the internet buddy - ask for opinions and you will get them - in every shape and form!

I didn't want to say anything as it seemed like a touchy subject but i agree with Reaper. It definitely doesn't seem like a good option to want to spend thousands on a Omega.
Coming from me, who was going to performance upgrade my SV6 before realising it would cost me the same to upgrade to a V8 (Best Decision i Ever Made )

I agree, fair enough you don't like the SV6 body kit so don't buy one but you definitely shouldn't waste money on performance enhancing a Omega.

If you really want to though, the black on black will look sweet :)

ok well fair enuff, i dont see the point in trying to make power in omega either...i would honestly only do it to get a bit of noise and to say ive modified the engine, not just the looks.

not really relevant.. but would it really matter if the car was just done for looks? I agree that performance mods on an omega are a waste. The driveline just isn't up to it. You don't have to 'say' anything.. let the car say it all. Let it be what it is - a show piece. Sure a bit of volume wouldn't hurt but I don't see the need for engine mods, myself. You're not designing it to be a performance car. Work on your priorities and focus your budget on that. Money wasted on performance parts could be the difference between a visual show-stopper and just another black Omega.

well said. not all mods have to be for performance... just look at all the show ponies at autosalon. different strokes for different folks. no harm in modding an omega.... just dont go spending craploads trying to make it go fast :).

Yeah you'd have to be a few cents short of a dollar to try and make power from an omega...it's possible but the variable valve timing in the HO is a much better platform for supercharging or twin turbos....Mmm twin turbos!

Also, this picture I posted of the black Pontiac with breytons is a Photoshop, it originally had silver breytons so I'm guessing that's made the whole thing look alot darker.
