Just the usual.. Custom ibanez, randall an boss gt is my main combo, sometimes (when i get sick of that fkn wizard 2 neck) i crank up the strat, lp or 40yr old matsumoko double cut..
I dont use emg at all (too much high end is bad for recording) but i have been contemplating some blackout metals.. I go for a pretty balanced setup, good fat sound for breakdowns, low action for legato, arps an sweeps, drop c because i need good tone an not floppy ass banjo strings for a bit of neo classical shred...
Oh an i only play 6's because a 7 is overkill unless ur vai

haha i wanted a hell raiser , but cant afford it, (so i can play more death metal, or even start a band with my mate who's into that shiit pretty deep) but i had to settle with a shitty cort EVL-X4 (with EMG HZ) or a dean but all i hear is bad things about them. i wish i could get a jem, but **** i dont have $3500 to piss away on guitars.
what effect pedals do people have out there?
i have the crybaby wah pedal and just a few Boss effect pedals.

Amity affliction's new cd is soo good. Blessthefall used to be good. Tell you what though, that band from canberra ain't half bad, Impressed with the quality so far. Not sure if the chick singing will do it for me - only the exceptional ones work for me most girl singing styles are annoying / evanescence-like in this style of music.
Paramore's an example of a good one.
Nice. I haven't for ages man, I ran a couple it was cool. I was doing all ages shows at the time so they were a pain in the arse but heaps of fun. Will check out your band tonight dude.
