lol Id have to agree, Ive seen something very similar with those like plates haha I myself might go the anniversary stripes but more of a concern is what wheels to get ie black or alloy etc, I haven't seen anything thats wow yet on this colour for me to think seriously about.

VE Commodore Series 2 SSV (Hazard Yellow)
Hazard Yellow SSV Series II

Hi Hazard-ous (nice name tag btw) I've only recently joined and saw this thread, I have a 2010 SSV SII in Hazard Yellow - with the track stripes. I love the look, mine is the only one I have seen in Darwin (where I live) with the track stripes. I haven't done many mods except I have a cat back straight through 3inch exhaust, and removed the rear spoiler, which I think gives the car a better profile than having the wing. I also have a ziggy's Otr which I am going to put on soon then get a tune. Hey where did you get the yellow gear shift knob and boot from?

I've attached some pics (older ones with the rear spoiler, I'll take some newer ones and post) - good to see another Hazard coloured VE on here!!

Great colour, suits the vehicle, BUT, just wondering how they will look in a few years when the top surface fades under this bloody OZ sun!

I would have tough that Black and Red fade the most. Has anyone noticed any fading in the Hazard?

None of the VE colours will fade if you look after them. Black is metallic and cleared - red is cleared now too (has been since VY2, from memory). No issue. Yellow won't fade either. Just maintain it properly. White will still go pasty if you neglect it though. Proper and regular maintenance is the key to long paint life with any paint system.

Ahh ok. I had a VL Turbo Interceptor a while back and it never faded. It just concerned me a bit what the OP said re fading.

I look after my cars.

Anyhow the Hazard Yellow SS is on order.

Only problem with Hazard as a colour in Melbourne is that it's taxi yellow! :( Other than that, they definitely stand out and look good. But this is what I'd prefer in yellow... ;)

Taxi yellow in melb is not as bright at hazard.
