Hey guys,
I'm currently looking for anyone that can contribute to a project i'm doing.

Currently the cost (setup) is under $100, and I think I can bring this under $50.

My setup will involve controlling the car via web browser (Phone/Tablet/etc.)

Wondering if anyone is interested in contributing, it will be open source software.

Currently based on VE/WM with low speed CAN, but will be interfacing high speed CAN.

Try the PCM hacking forum, they are working on open source stuff for the later model Commodores.

@OzJD what do you mean by “controlling the car via web browser”?

George Hotz has been looking at accessing CAN bus and adding his version of autopilot which he later released as open pilot along with other modules. He dumped the project t after warnings from NHTSA. Maybe have a loot at his s/w and h/w.

I’m sure you can google him and find links to his stuff. Here is an article to give you a heads up.
