Hey everyone I got a vs commodore need help knowing what wires go on the terminals as I have the positive terminal sparking and smoke as the wires are not marked to no what goes where thanks

Usually the red one goes to positive and the black one goes to negative. If they aren't coloured, the one that goes to the starter is positive, and the the one that is bolted to the body is negative. They are also different sizes, the positive will be too loose for the negative terminal, and the negative won't go all the way down on the positive post on the battery.

Got them on the right terminals but it still sparking of the positive

Is it large loud sparks or small ticky sparks?

Remove all the small wires attached to the positive terminal then see what happens. Sounds like an earth may be hooked up to the positive terminal.

there is only two wires on the positive like the other vs I got as well

There's only two wires on the positive and on the other one just the ground till I figure out what else has to go on it

If it's sparking and smoking, then you have a short somewhere. If it's not blowing any fuses, it has to be a hot wire, EG to the starter or alternator.

Or you have a failed relay that is stuck closed.

What did you do that required the battery to be disconnected?
