It's going well, great fun. No times yet. I've been driving it like a nanna, (Well I'm not completely flogging it.) as I'm moving interstate in a few weeks and don't want to risk breaking anything that might hold things up. Touch wood etc.

You assumed correctly. When it's working as a speedo the orange warning light flashes continuously which is a bit annoying. When you turn the ignition off it resets its self to the speed warning mode.

i did this months ago. it was a previous thread.
i think if you press the middle button after doing it, it will stay on digital speedo the whole time. mine only goes back to speed alert if i have disconnected the battery!

Yeh its a great trick my mate told me about it ages ago, easy way to get around the warning light is to remove it or some black tape.

BTW does anyone use there over speed alert anyway.
