Anybody ever fitted VT+ headers to vs V6?

As title states , wondering if anyone has ever fitted vt+ headers to a vs?

I know it won't be a direct fit and will require some massaging and welding.

Why do I want to do it? Vs headers only come in 1.5" to 2.125" outlets. Best off shelf you can get is the pacemaker long tube at $7-800.

I've asked two mates and another shop they all want $1800-2200 to make some 1.75" 3-1 2.5" outlet headers.

I can get some proflow vt+ headers in same specs for $500.

They will bolt up to the engine. The rest will need modifying.

Obviously lol , asking if anyone had tried. Both are quite narrow between heads and rails between the two.

Was wondering where they fouled , rails , rack , steering pinion etc.

I've got a set here but they're on the car and I don't really want to pull them off one to see where they foul on the other and then refit them back to car 1.

So hoping someone has tried before and can tell me where they don't work and if it looks like much .

AFAIK it will be a nightmare fitting VT headers to a VS as they foul on the chassis rail. VR and VS have very little room between headers and chassis rail as it is. I can post pics of my VR with Pacies when I get time to give you an indication. There is no room to pass them through the top if that helps to know how close they sit.

VT Chassis rails are wider, so they won't go between the engine and the chassis.

Why do you want 1 3/4" primaries?

Spent way to much money on it and the less restriction means less boost.

It's practically an as far as you can take it with stock m90 motor .

Does the rest of it look fairly similar? Reckon I could just angle cut the primary at the flange to a point it'll go and the rest of its closish?

Im not spending pacemaker money for a better set of 1.5's or paying 2k.

I have a set of the shorty ones that usually go for $4-500 I'll throw on.

Di Fillipo do 1.625" to 2.5" outlets for the VS, have a mate who literally bought these last week. He was thinking the same thing and was initially going to modify some cheapies himself as he's a boilermaker.

He got them through MPI in Perth and they were under $600.

The steering column is also a massive problem. There's a heap of headers that have it so one of the tubes is removeable so that the column can go through the middle of the headers.
