Anyone ever tried the code reader Maxiscan MS300 on their vy?

    I ordered the Autel Maxiscan M300 because it had high positive reviews on amazon.com... But its not working with my vy!

    Anyone ever tired this scan tool? Did it work?

    It won't work on the VY 6cyl.

    Anyone every tried the code reader Maxiscan MS300 on their vy?

    It doesn't work on V6 models except the VZ 3.6. It takes all V8 models. Best option would be to buy a V8 lol

    Well this sucks! I must have really bad luck! I pulled over a vz today to ask him if i can scan his car. Wanted to know if it was my car or the reader. Scaned nicely! Tried it on a Toyota camry and a ford just to make sure, no problems at all! I must have really bad luck, was looking so forward for this thing to arrive :l

    Any idea what code scanner would work on a vy v6...one that is no more than USD 50. Got this thing for 20

    Unfortunatly, Scanner's for the V6 are pretty pricey.
    Cheapest i have seen, Guy on ebay selling the cable for $80AUD.
    Have to use you're laptop.
    I have not used it myself, But it sais work's on all engine's.
    Vt-Vy.
    Other than that, There is a how to make one on the new somewhere.
    Not sure if it work's or not.

    If you find any cheaper, Let me know.
