V6? V8?

Could be spark plugs, fuel related

Your engine has spun a rod bearing and is toast. Time to find a new engine or a new car

oh sorry, v6 vx commdore, roughly 202,000kms

plugs SEEM fine, lately has put out a bit of a fuel-type smell, before this happened though, but seems stronger

But it starts fine, revs werent playing up today like they were the other day
its basically like the other day it was revs and stalling, today/yesterday it seems to be noize related, but yesterday was in Park so i dunno if it would stall etc in drive...

That last vid where you rev it, THAT sounds like one time when a mechanic at my old workshop forgot to put a rod bearing in a generator engine...

Lucky you didn't take this guys advice then

I was 100% correct. Bearing noise (caused by "the bottom end was starved of oil coz silly me").
He is replacing the bottom end instead of swapping engines = Same thing essentially.
