Anyone on here own an Outlander and have acceleration problems? I looked on Google and nothing came up for 2015-on, vehicles. I reckon there is a trans issue but Mitsubishi are saying there is no problem with the car.

Put your foot down and it delays before accelerating. It feels like the trans is not dropping down a gear and getting going like it should.

CVT are different to what you would experience in a "normal" auto like your ute.

Yeah I spoke to our trans tech yesterday and he said they behave different to the Holden trans and others. He said something about pulleys and belts. So yeah it is normal that it has a delay, apparently. Seems silly to me. Good that it's not an issue because the warranty only has another year on it.

Hummm, you spoke to a trans tech yesterday, so why not put the answer up after you spoke to the tech?

I hadn't got around to it as it was 4pm yesterday when he called me back, and it wasn't until 5.0 said something and I got on this morning that I thought I better provide an update. Is that alright with you?
