Thanks for the info mate
I'm actually hoping for 280 but at the end of the day it's just a number
I just want nice torque all round, have it feel better to drive and a nice lumpy note.

Yeah thanks greenfoam, that'd be great

I asked about the cam in that guys VY manual, but it's 232/234, I might get more specs on it later.

EDIT: "Comp Cam 232/234 @ 50 and has a 112lob sep and 598/601 lift"

It's an 11 second kind of car, it's also for sale

thats a decent cam. would be hard to drive in a manual if its tuned poorly though, also it will drink like a fish but will run pretty good times.
I think ill go somthing that size for my next cam.

It makes under 10l/100 on the highway still, about 15-16 around town. He does say it's a bit jumpy around town but you get used to it (you learn how to handle it), He want's around/near 20 grand for the car. He's a bit obsessed with his oil changes and such, I'd probably buy it if I had any money since it's the quickest ls1 around these parts :)

for track or strip? if ur not gonna race it 3000-3500 should be plenty if its a drag car 4500+ would be ideal to get someeasy 11 second passes.
