I am on the fence with weather to get a note or not. I'm sure I'll find the bigger screen *very* handy for work etc but am not sure about being able to put it in pockets etc due to it's large size. Also - what's the deal with a stylus? Do I have to use it or is there a place to clip it so it doesn't get lost??? I'd say there is something wrong with the phone. My SII scrolls fine. Says the guy who is above the influence of "eye candy" on the screen I had an iPhone 3g and an iPhone 4, my mrs has a iPhone 4s and now I have a Samsung SII. All get moderate to very heavy business use daily and with a fair amount of experience over both platforms, there is no ####ing way I'd go back to an iPhone *any* time soon.
Reap The stylus is housed within the case when not being used. I'm considering getting one of these when the current contract runs out. I had the Note II in mind but see that there is already an updated version out. Bloody Samsung -it's getting to the point where there is a new model every six months! PS - it's "whether", not "weather".
Stylus is part of the Note 2. Sits inside at the bottom. It'll vibrate when it's been taken out and the phone will tell you if you forgot to put it back in.
Haha - yeah I was referring to whatever was current when my contract runs out later this year. Thanks for the feedback
@Reaper I'm an electrician and I also have a Note II. It fits into my work trousers with ease, although it can be a little (and I certainly mean little) bit cumbersome when bending or squatting. But that is only a small trade off for such a great phone with a fantastic screen. And the battery life is incredible! Sent from my GT-N7105 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Really? Because every time I use my brothers s4 it's crystal clear and runs beautifully. Same with my HTC one. That's also considering it's running something better than doodle jump or kandy krush. Get off your throne of lies! you speak more rubish than the clowns who make iphones!
Your opinion was that s4's are bad because it lagged when you scrolled. Obviously you didn't use it for very long because s4's are super fast. You also said you're not going to buy an android phone until they make a good one??? Define good for me please? In relation to phones.
By the way, any one have a developers account for iTunes? You can get IOS 7 atm for $100, and feel like a mad #### for the next two months untill everyone else gets it Kinng
they need to start looking at the strength of the phone itself. drop an iphone/galaxy/whatever and screen insta breaks. (well I did drop my nokia n9 a while back onto solid concrete and it had 0 damage so it doesn't always happen) as usual you have a chat to people at work and today was about phones. one of the guys was like, back awhile ago had a nokia brick. fell off his lap onto the road (while getting out of the car) and had 10 cars run over it. only damage was a little crack on the screen, everything else worked fine. I know id be more inclined to go for a phone that can survive then what fancy tech it has on it. actually. that and a decent camera. (because I don't have a proper camera)
I just want better battery life without having to turn the brightness down or enabling power saving mode
Good one! I'm thinking about getting the 5S when it comes out, but I don't know if I want a longer screen. Hmmm... Did you see that new battery that's been invented? I'll get a link. Here: http://edition.cnn.com/2013/05/20/tech/whiz-kid
How many hours (or days ) can you get from your iphones? Max brightness, at least 4 hours of screen on time, 3g/4g always on and a 10 hour shift sees me down to 40-50% at the end of the day. I've got Google locations on, emails Facebook Twitter viber etc all going in background and no power saving modes on. All with smooth operating and scrolling. Swyped from my Note 2 phablet...
5S will be interesting! I personally think this is the last iphone I'll have. Might get a windows phone after haha Screenshot of my mates on running iOS 7: Kinng
Hmm I've noticed that Apple have used a more 'solid' colour for the icons instead of being more detailed.
