    Found this, thought I’d share it.

    Interested in the modules used and if they might be obtained separately and adapted to suit other platforms.

    Would this be possible with other models? Thoughts?

    Not interested in Apple bagging, anyone can do that. It’s about the concept and expanding in car entertainment functions.

    Android has a tv system.
    Won't work with apple tv?

    No, but I'd imagine the same set up could have the an android/windows based TV module like a Roku or similar.

    I'm taking an interest in buying a capacitive touch screen overlay, a Raspberry Pi Zero and maybe a simple install of Android Auto onto it. The overlays can be fitted to any screen for any model. Seems like a fun thing to pursue, maybe next year when I have time.:confused:

    This is how this was done I'd say.
    It looks like he has "Dash Command" running on it showing all the gauges and the cars engine data.

    These are the capacitive touch overlays.
    There are resistive touch ones for about $20. They have much thinner sides.
