Hi, I'm interested in replacing original RE050'S with SC6'S & would appreciate opinions please.Or any other brands you could recommend.
I want direct, precise steering in particular & hopefully not too noisy on course chip country roads.
Thank you in advance.

From my research go with Michellin Pilot Sport 4.
Continental are fine but will wear quickly

I put Conti Sport 6s on the rear of my E3 HSV and loved them initially, but at about 50% wear, I pulled them off as I lost faith in the rear end and it jiggled around way too much on anything not perfect. As Ron suggested Pilot Sport 4s are fantastic. But I haven't got lot of km on mine, so not sure how they will last or how they will be at 50% wear.

I have the Continentals on my Ute at the moment.

The dry and wet weather grip is very good and if you choose them you won't be disappointed on that score, they don't have enough K's on them for me to comment on wear.

One thing I have noticed is the Michelin P4S is often cheaper than the Conti Sport and if that's the case I wouldn't think twice, I'd go with the P4S as they are a great tyre.

Has anyone seen a good comparison of the Pilot Sport 4 vs the 4S?

Just search on Youtube for "Michelin Pilot Sport 4S" - there's quite a few reviews there, including a couple of direct comparisons by Tyre Reviews.

PS Have the Pilot Sport 4S tyres myself, and absolutely love 'em!
