Haha, indeed..great old beasts (hell I drive one on a daily basis), but not at that money. I'd part with 5-6k for it, but no more.

While mine was an auto, if I had somewhere to keep it I would have, instead of selling it when I got my VE.

Probably yes..but that's not rocket science is it? The youngest is now 22 years old and manuals were far less common than autos when new. Chuck a V8 into the mix and you hardly have a chance of finding a good one now,

If it was a ute it would be a fairly rare. I look a fair bit on Gumtree Tas for VR/VS utes and very seldom do they come up at a good price.

This is a Tas example where prices are way more than mainland. If you like the one you're looking at you should buy it. Keeping in mind there are better buys out there.

would a xy falcon 500 with a v8 (302 or 351) manual be worth more than a gtho now
that will be the same as a exec to a ss or clubby in the future thats all your got say to your self before you hand over the cash
