Yeap. Not allowed to make paint like they use to.
Plus, in a more competitive market, less paint means less cost and less weight, which in turn improves economy.
Just write in the owners manual 'wash regularly, and apply a wax 1/2yearly. Or more often in hot/humid environments'
Then it's the customer's fault for not looking after it.
And let's be honest, average Joe is hopeless at washing let alone waxing.
