How do the LS stock rods take to a PD though, are they fairly well up to the task? Or is a side mount a safer bet, even though they don't give instant power?
When the LS came out on the Monaro a place in Melbourne brought out a twin turbo kit, that apparently made them go quite well. Not sure if they have them any more or if they have them for late LS.

As long as your "sensible" with the power and are tuned well there fine

I'm running a 85mm pulley and am making around 950nm dynopowers at 2500 revs and a peak of 315kwatw (auto slush box with a Craigs built 4l60e and 2800 stall, unlocked(no warranty on the trans build if you lock it up on a dyno)

Pretty much 7 psi from just over idle to 6500 revs

Disregard the old dynopowers reading as it was done with a new OEM ECU flashed with the stock tune as the original ECU was locked by the joint that put in the cam

It "apparently" had about 270 kw and 450nm previously

Linky to my trials and tribulations of the ever evolving "bogan cruise ship"

Good for a laugh and how to waste money on stuff

Mines going well too, L77, 8-9psi, 375rwkw and 945nm.
If you get it right with minimal wheel spin the acceleration is unreal, so much fun.

Modding can’t be an endless journey as ones bank account is finite :p

Life’s reality will kick in sooner or later and the mods will naturally stop
