My 06 SS has become sluggish relactant to start and sometimes the electricals in the car just seem off. I had a look at the engerneering mode and found these.
Are these numbers a little low or just strange for a non running or moving car ?

Switch Voltage 4.3V
Throttle Possition 19%
Battery Viltage 12.3V
Battery Charge 90.5%
Just looking to pinpoint if it’s possibly battery.
cheers

Not really. The important number is battery voltage when it's running, if it's under 13v when it's running it pretty much means the alternator is stuffed. Ideally something like 13.8v.

sorry going to disagree
those numbers are low
a good charged battery should be around 12.6v
when running, ve have smart alternator and charge anywhere from high 12's to 15's

Agreed, I’d even go to say from mid-high 13’s up to 15 Volts

your battery should be at +12.6v when it hasn’t been used/charged etc for 12 hours or so (I.e. first thing in the morning)

your alternator should be measuring over 13V & then add some if its got a load such as H/L’s, A/C, heater etc (engine running of course)

Those numbers look about right considering the various states of charge, loads etc that a vehicle exhibits

On a seperate but related topic. My new Blackvue dash cam has a battery sensor so that it stops parking mode recording when the voltage gets to a pre determined value. This is adjustable and is currently set at 12.1v. It takes about 12 hours of recording before it gets to 12.1v before it stops. Should I set this value higher?
