What would be the best option to replace/reupholster beige seats in a VT with electric drivers and both with SRS. Upholsterers won't touch it cause of the bags and finding seats that color with those features is difficult to say the least.

    Cheers

    VX Berlina Air Bag Module

    Hi there

I have a VX Berina (Series 1 - 2001) and have been told by my local garage that I need a replacement airbag module. The price to fix it was around the $400 mark but he suggested that I source the module from the wreckers.

I was wondering how hard is it to remove the module so I can take it with me to the wreckers in order to get the right one etc.

    Much appreciated

    Peter

vr stalling at ac cut out.

    G'Day,

First of all, good of you to lend your knowledge!

My VR V6 is stalling after the a/c cuts out. The revs aren't staying at normal rpm, dipping and then stalling and then backfiring back through induction. Happens when changing from reverse to neutral to drive as well. I had a code 13 (Oxy sensor) changed that and cleaned throttle body and elbow adapter thoroughly. Still stalling. I'm thinking IAC, throttle position sensor unit is faulty or is it the fuel pressure reg, I found fuel in the vacum hose.

(couple hours after first posting) - Ok, I've pulled out the fuel regulator and will be replacing. Whilst doing this I couldn't get a good enough grip on the regulator so I pulled off the fuel rail and injectors, and found 1 nozzle missing on one of the injectors (plastic nozzle tip with oring). Should I be getting it out or will it burn up?

    Please shed some light, Thanks!
    Dan.

Vt will do this sometimes if the BCM has had a minor brain fade, the security link from the PCM is lost, a dealer with a tech2 can relink it.

not as yet , the aftermarket software is proving difficult, a dealer can do it , they just need to have the knowledge on how to use the tools they have

    Hi Rob,

Gerry recommended me ask my question in this thread, Hoping you can help me out.

I have Vy that I am looking to convert to a manual. I have a Vt here that was involved in a crash, However it is a manual and all the running gear is fine.

I am getting a lot of different mixed information on what I will need. Can you get me a list of what parts will be required to do this? I assume I need a Vy manual computer as I cant use the one out of the Vt? What wiring will I need? And will I need to use the Vt BCM?

Thanks for any help, Please feel free to PM.

    Cheers,
    Ben/Super6
