    Audio project

I bought two 10 in' rockford fosgate subs and i'm currently in the process of getting it installed. they came in a bulky crappy box, it just wouldn't do, so I started making two seperate custom sealed boxes. My progress can be seen in the pictures.

for starters, you need to mount those amps properly eg submerge them into the boxes or run the cabes where u can see them.... and best way to mound them would be with a bracket .

As you can see in the pic, it is more complex than it appears, the sloping angle at the back makes it butt up against the back, making the box wasn't easy, it took me two days. anyone who is thinking of doing this themselfs be prepared, and take your time.

you might want to move your amps because if you leave them up there the heat can't escape because heat rises upwoods it leaves your amp and goes straight back into them making them hot, when car amps get to hot u lose power and can damage them permantaly (excuse the spelling).
thought i should let you know

reading my amp installation intstruction manual did come in handy

    cheers

    Update

Alright amps have been moved to a better location and another has been added, the 1000watt is powering the two RF's and the 350watt alpine is powering the pioneer. Another addition today was an upgrade of the headunit from a 45x4watt Xplod to a 50x4watt pioneer.

The sound between the two brands is different, the pioneer has a longer lasting bass note, while the Rockfords have a harder punch that is quick and sharp, so they kinda come together and sound fine. This also may be due to the different amps, two different types of amps used too.

Oh and yes, they are all 10"s

for awesome bass you need to hear a song called 'Masterz Of Bass (Blutonium Boy Hardstyle Mix)' by DJ Virus. its got this bit where all you hear is the big long drawn out 'booooooooooooooom' and it sounds sweet even on just a single 10"

if i was you i would bugger the audio pipes off and go 3 fusion encounters, i got one in the back of my vk and i am putting another one in their because i am so impressed by the encounters performance compered to the price.

i got an album called hardcore bass and it is a group of guyz who have just made music with some of the biggest bass lines i have ever heard. excuse the french but when you have it cranked you need to take a **** about 10 mins in.

    cheers

    scott
