From what others have said on other sites the base VF audio is better than the premium audio over from the VE series, So it's not too bad at all for "stock", Just don't expect wonders from it though if you crank it up.
ive got the Calais V sounds pretty good what i did to make it sound better was turned the treble up as high as it goes and shifted the fader just slightly to the back
No complaints from customers so far. The only thing I've done so far is add a sub but I don't think the standard system is lacking any bass.... just numbnuts wanted more.
having 2 VE's previously, the audio in the VF is definitely a step up. you can actually put the volume up to a decent level without distorting. the bass is quite decent as well and I've come from always having a sub in my car.
In the VE, taking the centre dash speaker out helped with distortion. does anyone know if doing the same in the VF will give it better sound?
