audio upgrade

g'day boys...

has anyone tried a dig options head unit in a vy???

stock unit has failed (mech error) and need replacement. seen them on ebay for $500ish and they look like value with wheel control function, gps, bluetooth, iPhone, camera etc but i think it could be to good to be true!

any help or advice would be great.

We got one through Dig options for my missus' Outlander. Plays DVDs, does Bluetooth, AM reception is **** but FM good as gold, GPS is sweet. Came with reversing camera as well. Installer was a bit wary saying he'd put these types in before and they stuff up/catch fire for no reason (they are cheap!). So far no problems and going strong! Beats $1500+ from Alpine/Pioneer/Kenwood et al. All round a pretty good buy IMHO.
