Aussie Drifters on Free to Air TV Sunday 29th of December.

Round 1 of the Australian Drifting Grand Prix is being aired on SBS SpeedWeek this Sunday 29th of December at 1pm Qld Time.

If your not sure what Drifting is all about, this is a great way to learn & watch some of Australia's best drifters go head to head at Mallala Motorsport Park in Adelaide.

Team XForce & Nick "DriftKid" Coulson made the long trek from Queensland to throw the XForce performance & Achilles Radial VE SS Drift Ute around this fast tyre frying track.
Check out how The DriftKid went in his VE SS Ute against all the usual Japanese Drift cars.

I haven't seen the ute yet but lots of v8 powered 200sx's and skylines...

Yep,unfortunately the diff let go Woud have gone all the way as he was on fire

Was watching it before.. They were only doing 3 corners for drifting..

Technically it was only 2 for that track. The main idea is to emulate the lead car & not to many race tracks have 3 or more corners after one another to keep the car sideways without straitening. Also need the speed before the entry to make it interesting.
The next round in Perth had 4 corners so it was a little more challenging to keep on someone's door.

We run a os giken centre with motive 3.9 diff gears & pinion. Must have chipped a tooth in the top 16 against the pink cefiro & just got worse from there. If we had more time we could have dropped the oil & teeth & maybe got a bit further along.
