I’m a big fan of supporting our homelands artists. Most of us have hear of Hilltop Hoods, The Herd, 360 and so on. But is there anything you have been hooked on and would think its worth sharing?

My new tattooist has pointed me in the direction of Gully Platoon (Pegz+Dialectrix+Joe New= win)

Also hooked on
M-Phazes - Good Gracious (massive, massive compilation album featuring - Pegz, NFA, Bliss, Illy, Phrase and plenty more)
Simplex - Autobiography
Pegz - Drama (mentions my home town ... Yarrawonga hahahaha)
Illy - Long Story Short
Drapht - The Life of Riley

Also if guys and girls are into HipHop, I know they are not Aussie but they are the definition of HipHop .... The Roots - Undun ( pure GOLD )

Anyways I would love to find a heap more albums to pass the long arse hours at work, so PLEASE share :)

But seriously check out The Roots and M-Phazes albums ....... favourite two albums at moment.

One last thing. Please support our Aussie hiphop or any aussie artist and BUY their albums. Peace out biatch's hahahaha

Not many OZ hip hop fans on here:( Good to meet another :) Some of the lastest stuff I have been listening to:

Funkoars, The Quickening < A must have for any OZ hiphop fan
360, Falling and Flying < Not a big fan, 1st time listener
Drapht, The life of Riley < Not as good as his older stuff IMO

Will have a look at the roots and M-Phazes and get back to ya.

Yeah I am getting the feeling not a lot on here but each to their own.
If your not a big fan of Falling and Flying try his older stuff ...... What you see is what you get. Some pretty strong stuff on that album. Def worth a listen.

Also I forgot to mention good ol TZY and Urthboy.

You should check out Emerald Sun. He is an up and coming Aussie hip hop with some good songs. YouTube is your friend. Also for some good old school hip hop from America, De la Soul (Artificial Intelligence is a great album from them) are great if you are into rap with real stories not just gangsta rap.
