Yep thats it i bought another car, but this ones not staying with me for too long.
This is more of a profit project.

Its SLAMMED and needs a motor
Picked it up for 500 bucks, ill fix her up make her completely stock again and then sell her on with a RWC and all.

Its pretty clean just needs to be "DE-P-PLATERED"

I havent been able to look into the issue as of yet but the kid says it just cut out and wouldnt crank again.
I get the feeling he was doing something illegal when it happened

1) Fix motor or replace motor
2) Remove LPG setup
3) Make stock again
4) Make roadworthy and get a RWC
5) Sell
6) Put money towards boost ;)

A friend of mine did that to a VY wagon he bought for $500. He had spares around in his garage including a set of 19". His biggest outlay was repainting it silver & that didn't cost him much as he's a spray painter by trade.

He ended up swapping it for a manual delft blue VUII SS which needed a little work.

If you find a good set of 18" to replace the stockies, it'd set off the wagon pretty well

Too many
Are you leaving it reg'd in old mates name till you sell it or transferring it to you? Just wondering as I have a similar car lined up to do the same.

Good luck with it. Hope it works out for you. I have had similar thoughts myself but never really had the space for additional car

Overall in great shape, list of what needs to be done.

-Swap motor
-Caster rod bushes
-Hub caps
-Raise
-Fit a head unit
-Replace LHR Speaker grill
-Change the seal on the trans cooler line pipes
-Spray the front bar
-Replace tailgate latch
-Remove LPG
-Reg and roady

So far thats it, will be a very neat car when we are done.
