I was going to machine my front rotors at work today since they were looking a little scored and glazed but when i measured them they were undersized.
So i got straight onto the phone to BrakesWest who always look after me with some new front rotors and pads.

Turns out sportivos have 30mm larger rotors than a standard corolla, and slightly thicker too.

List of things this car is getting this weekend
-Mobile 1 oil
-New oil filter
-New iridium spark plugs
-New front rotors
-new front pads
-new oil level sensor seal
-Sump re seal (due to having to take it off to unbash it)
- Fresh coat of paint on the calipers
- Rotate wheels
-New pollen filter
-New Air filter
-Brake Fluid Flush
-New wiper blades

In the last few weeks its already had
-New clutch, along with machined flywheel and clutch fluid flush
-new driveshafts
-new waterpump
-coolant flush
-new gearbox oil

So fair to say i take care of my cars ;)
I find it hard to ignore a problem.... call it OCD

Random iphone snap of brakes.

RH wheel bearing has gone pooped itself.
When ever im at speed and veer to the left the wheel bearing whines reallllly bad.
Thinking it was tyres so i rotated but that didnt solve anything.

Got home and ripped the RH HUB off, will bring it to work and use the press tomorrow.
Hopefully its not the left side, going with a gutt and starting with the right side.

Well i have a bit of an update, The RHF wheel bearing i done did NOT fix my noise that i had.
I kept driving it around with i bit of "meh" attitude as ive had a lot of other things build up over the last few months.

Yesterday while driving home i felt my steering get a bit sketchy and a really bad noise developed, My LHF wheel bearing collapsed and put my hub on a very strange angle.
Actually bad enough to make the brakes stick on that one side.

So when i got home i jacked it up and sure enough......

So i took the hub off that night (last night) and took it to work today.
Pressed out the old bearing as soon as i got to work... waited for the misses to bring me my new wheel bearing (yes im grateful) and then press the new one in while still at work.
Got home and fit the hub back up road tested it and what do you know... no more sounds

So the spoiler on this thing has been sun fading and has actually gotten a lot worse over this summer.
I was going to pay a professional to paint it for me but as im able to get paint mixed up for cheap i though i might as well give it a shot and see how i go.

This is before.

notice i didnt have a trim tool so i used a flat blade rapped in a microfibre

Plugged up all the holes with some tape until the spoiler is ready to go back on

At first i was dry sanding it, but i started wet sanding it as i didnt want to get dust everywhere, my goal was to remove all glossy parts and make everything smooth.
Im not a painter and i dont even know if this is the correct method but i did watch quite a few youtube videos :p

This photo it still looks a bit glossy because i had just cleaned it with some wax and grease remover

I primed it then once the primer set i wetsanded it once again to try get as smooth as a finish as i could

Now this is with the base on, im letting it set over night and then ill clear it and wetsand and polish it.
Should hopefully be all done by monday night.
Its hard to get right and you need to be patient, people like Ryder make it look easy.

Also this happened last night.
I was at the movies with my misses.... the movie finished at 12:30am and the underground car park had to close at 1am.
I left the lights on in the car which flattened the battery, i had 5 random blokes helping me to push start it but it was just so flat that it couldnt even generate a spark to start the motor.
Long story short i called a mate with some jumper leads and got out of there just as they were locking up.
Today i purchased my pwn jumper cables :D

What paint are you using? Clears, from my experience are sprayed either right away (after the sufficient between coat drying time is followed) or very soon after. As you want to get a bond/adhesion to the base coat, and if the base is left to dry you're going to have a bad time. (will need to rescuff the base, but since your colour looks metallic i'd be cautious without talking to ryder.)
