VN CALAIS V6 1988-1990
Gday all, im looking to manual convert my auto vn, i dont know a whole lot though, heres this to help identify it.
[ LG2 (LN3) V6 12v OHV MPFI {125KW}

Ive poked around but still not clear on what would be required parts-wise?

Mainly chasing a in depth list of parts id need to start and complete the conversion from stock,
ive left myself a budget of $2000

Also suggestions for a decent alternator as mine hasnt quite got
the gutts it needs for sound and accessories

Any and all help appreciated, cheers

Can you confirm exactly which motor you have. Series 1 VN or series 2 with the later style model.

Not really. Where is the thermostat housing on the motor? If it's at the back it's a series 1, if it's at the front it's a series 2 motor.
